Covid-19 Covid-19 continues to
impact our lives. As we are caring for vulnerable and elderly people across Warwickshire,
we take extra precautions to protect our clients. To manage the risk of
infection, we follow the Public Health England, Warwickshire County Council, and
the ICB’s advice regarding PPE, infection control, and risk management with
regular re-assessments of these.
Full PPE is provided for
all care calls. This includes aprons, masks and gloves but can also include
visors, goggles, or other PPE that are deemed necessary. Our carers are tested regularly
and whenever they have been in contact with potential infection risk.
Fortunately, we have
had a very limited number of cases with our agency’s clients or carers. We see
this as a result of the vigilance of our staff and effective infection control
procedures across our clients.
